That goal by Campbell should have been allowed there, there was nothing wrong that I could see. England were just robbed.

Nah, Terry jumped up on the spot. Nothing there at all.

Im watching it now on ITV highlights and John Terry definalty put his arm to obstruct the keeper, it wasn't Sol's fault he didn't know, but Terry was the guilty party im afraid. They will discuss it after the game highlights so you'll get a chance to see it again.

I don't think you can dispute the fact that we'd have been much stronger up front and more likely to get a goal.

I didn't watch the after game chat. Did someone say something stupid about "if Rooney hadn't have gone off we'd have won for sure"?

Heh, we were all asking that too.

Looking back at the game, we were out-played for the vast majority, but when we needed to go forward because we weren’t winning, we looked dangerous. This brings me to the “why” question. Why, in the name of Scottish shortbread, do we always sit back on a lead? When you’re only 1 goal in front you can’t just sit back.

Ref made a few bad decisions. But the disallowed goal I think many refs would have blown for a free kick. Because we all know, you can’t touch a keeper like you can another player, despite the fact that they have the advantage of being able to use their hands…

Why is Rooney’s boot coming off a free kick to the opposition?

Anyway, Cole and Campbell were awesome. Owen was a bit more like we have come to expect and we showed heart, like we really wanted to play…pity we’re out really.

If you look closely. John Terry is looking at the ball all the time. When he jumped he swung his arms up (everyone does it) and the keeper jumped into his arms and flapped at the ball. Campbell jumped as high as the crossbar anyway. There is no way the keeper would have jumped the length and the height to get to it.

The ref was poor tonight, he might aswell have pulled on a portugese top. However, regardless of the ref saying there was a push on the keeper for Campbells goal or not (which there clearly wasn't) Terry's arm did (even in the slightest) obstruct the keeper and as the don says, in these situations the keeper always gets the benefit of the doubt. One thing is for sure, the ref made a blind decision because there was no push.
