Mac's marketing machine has gone a little OTT with the whole "i" thing, and ihave to agree too, why an iMac, they're bloody useless. They're nothing more than a piece of ornamental machinery for the "wow" thing when people first see one but as for practicle, no chance. (iStill own an orional iMac from 1999 in Orange, worth a bomb now to collectors!) but all it's useful for is surfing the web, as syncing to your palm.
Have to say though, the G5's are awsome. Took delivery of one at work the other week and it's a true piece of craftwork. The power is ludicrus and it's damn sexy and good at what it's designed to be used for.
