2 words : Funking awesome!
The rest of the disk matters not.
The magazine is horrible.
It's just so utterly horrible I actually chuck it away - after about 2 hours.
How's the Unreal 2 demo?
Can't run the OXM disk on my US console and I'm definitley not importing a magazine. Tis out over there in a couple of weeks so I will hang tight (no pun intended) until then to play the Xbox version.
The PC demo came out yesterday as well but I was too busy with the Champions League last night to download it. Will grab it after I get back from the Newcastle game tonight.
I didn't expect much though from the demo as from what I've seen it's probably the cackest looking level anyway.
Sorry.
:)
> Is this a single player demo or multi?
Single player.
It's the whole first level which is the light house level from the videos.
It's godly. I hung upside down and snapped necks, cut through a tent and stabbed someone, threw someone off a cliff, stabbed someone again...and again...and again...and then I jizzed my pants.
It's awesome. The AI is superb, no more *shoots all lights in room* "Must have been my imagination" stupidity. I ran out in front of 2 guards and jumped over a wall, for the next 5 minutes they walked around looking for me talking amongst each other attempting to flank positions and using their flares to illuminate dark areas.
Game of the year? I think we have a definite contender if not winner.
> Um..no it doesn't - Splinter Cell is awful
LIES.
SC:PT was dire though.
SC 1 was class.
