Any scene with cups and drinking - imagine the cups are empty. It works, you won't be able to take a film seriously after that.

Only loser geek fans notice and care about things like that.

Sorry but how can you be bothered about things like that, if you look almost every film has something in it that breaks continuity or "just wouldn't happen".

I hate seeing a film in which an actor is appearing who has already been in another film. I'm like you know all "well one minute you were happy to take money to be Legolas and now you expect me to believe that you are a Pirate or a Milkman?"

What did make the LOTR unwatchable was the fact that every shot of child extras had Jackson's sprogs in it. I remember walking out of the cinema screaming my disgust when I realised that the kids who were in Helms Deep also appear in Minis Tirith, which is impossible. How can you take a film about Orcs and Goblins seriously if this sort of thing happens?

You could take my sister with you.
"Who's that?"
"What's going on now?"
"What's he doing?"
"I don't understand."
"Isn't he supposed to be dead?"
"I hate her."

No, the only way you can ruin a film is with a dog with shifty eyes. That ruined Mel Giboson's film in the Simpsons, not the manic killing spree in which the senate gets shot up and the secretary of state is impaled with a flag.

No matter how scary a scene is meant to be, when an actor is alone I just know they're surrounded by 20/30 people behind the camera.
