I thought Rooney should have gone off earlier to be replaced by either Heskey or Vassell.

He then won us a penalty. Shows what I know.

He is a big lad and probably thought he could win it.

I hated the amount of diving and faking injuries from both France and England in that game.

The one time someone was actually hurt, (Gary Neville), he wanted to keep going without a break.

Everyone knows what he is about now. He was good against Argentina in 98 becasue the argies had no idea he had that sort of pace.

Rooney is on the same sort of situation now, although his strength gives him an edge over owen for the future.

but owen is sh'twhen he was younger hes was good. Thats what going to happen to rooney
