I don't know why people compare these two, they're two different breeds of midfielder. Gerrard is the tackling, defensive midfielder in the holding role while Lampard is the explosive attacking midfielder grabbing the goals. If anything the comparison should be Lampard and Scholes
I don't know. Before he scored the goal, he was giving away a few fouls and could have got booked for the foul on Zidane when he did a little trick.
