Just post anything at all about Euro 2004: Who's going to win it, top scorers, brilliant players, superb games, annoying refs etc.

You can also use this thread for commentary etc. If anyone wants to post updates from a Euro 04 game then they would be more than welcome.

Post absolutely anything about this great tournament in this thread.

Thanks,

Wakka.

Hardly. We're almost always considered as the United Kingdom in the grand scheme of things, not just England or what have you. Why not support Britain as a whole?

Indeed, I agree. The best I can foresee is a draw, and that would only be if we got similar luck to what we got against Iceland.

But would you expect Germany to support France, switzerland, italy and whoever else they border (Russia, czech republic, and the rest, 8 in all), if they hadn'tqualiofied and the rest of those teams had?

It's sheer lunacy.

Oh, finally, in this thread I've found some English people who don't think England will win.
After studying the games of everyone bar Latvia and Bulgaria (and probably some others) recently, I'll be absolutely flabbergasted if France don't win tonight.

TEAM NEWS FOR FRANCE AND ENGLAND AHEAD OF THEIR CLASH LATER THIS EVENING.

'France's Marcel Desailly will start the game on the bench after failing to recover from a knee injury and will be replaced by Mikael Silvestre.

Striker David Trezeguet looks to have recovered from an ankle injury and should replace Manchester United's Louis Saha alongside Thierry Henry.

England defender John Terry is coach Sven-Goran Eriksson's only absentee.

Tottenham's Ledley King has got the nod ahead of Liverpool's Jamie Carragher to replace the Chelsea man.

Probable France team: Barthez; Gallas, Thuram, Silvestre, Lizarazu; Pires, Vieira, Makelele, Zidane; Henry, Trezeguet.

Probable England team: James, G Neville, Campbell, King, Cole, Beckham, Lampard, Gerrard, Scholes, Owen, Rooney.'

You're remembering how great they are, suggesting that you've seen some before.
