"Spain vs. Russia Match"

Just about to kick off, and I noticed Roman Abramovich in amongst the Russian crowd, in his blue and white colours. Nice to see.

What is everyone expecting? I can't see anything apart from a Spain win but you can never be certain when you consider earlier's shock defeat for Portugal.

I really enjoyed Spain vs. Russia, even though there was only one goal. It just goes to show that despite three goals, the Portugal vs. Greece was a rather poor game, where as the single goaled encounter between Spain and Russia was better.

Russia were awful never had much of a chance getting in the box and they had a midfielder at Centre Back!
And with Spains squad they should of been able to score a few more but it showed how they only just managed to qualify for Euro 2004 through a play off..

I think Spain deserved to win it. Russia weren't that good in the second half and I certainly liked the play of Etxeberria. He looked cool and composed.

The sending off pretty much ended any hopes of Russia getting back into the game. The ref was just dishing out yellow cards and had a shocking game.

Spain could have won it comfortably but they'll be happy with 1-0.
