Hell after all he as affected my life so much and I really want the world to know what a bad person he is!!!
I hope the sarcasm isnt lost on anyone but i'll cut it out right now anyway.
Im sick to death of hearing about how George Bush is making the 'Sententious Indiot #3' (replace with name of your choice) really angry. We all know that he stole the election, it is plain fact if you believe the political analysers etc etc... war in Iraq was certainly needless and bold, at least in such a way that it showed all the impulsive bull headedness of the Texan male, or even just characteristic of any male.
But can we give it a rest now? With any luck he wont be in power much longer, and everyone that claims they personally hate him can breathe easy, and raise their mug of fair trade coffee along with their middle class 'comrades', then drive off in their Ford kas to 'fight the machine' by buying some 'meat is murder' T-shirts from Topshop.
It's called 'Innocuous Insurrection' and it's all the rage!

Hmm, to be honest I'm not so certain now. His first post certainly read like that, but his later posts suggest that perhaps he just didn't express himself that well first time round.
I'm not sure.

Exactly, although I'll quote your reply rather than spend time writing much of one myself. This is obviously a regular/retard/both trying to stir up another forum.

Fair point there, and fair point to MD too, however as I stated the post is not so much an attack on those who actually fight against Bush/fight for democracy but more to do with those vile armchair anarchists,
actually a good bit of my post was based on a personal anger, so i apologise.
As I say with any luck Dubya will be gone and out of the power he never deserved or even earned.
what do you guys think about the rise of anti-Americanism in Britain which seems to be going from strength to strength?
But:

To me the point you made there is blindingly clear: 'He hasn't affected our lives, only the lives of others, so shut up'.
I struggle to find another interpretation for that quote, and unless there is one, well, to be honest the f-u has to stand.
People pretending to care when really they don't ?
I don't think that's the case, not on a significant scale at least. Sure, there are a few people who figure it's cool to protest, but on this issue if you accept the election was a fraud it's very difficult not to care.
I believe everybody keeps on talking about it without taking action for a simple reason:
They do care, a hell of a lot more than you seem to imagine, and they can't just let it go and shut up. But they also feel powerless to actually do anything.
Continuing to voice their dissent is the best most of us can manage.

Ahh, I see.

Honest to God, if one applied that same argument to religion then fair enough.

For the ones who are, yeah. But don't you think you're making a sweeping generalisation?

Well...don't you think the subversion of democracy in the worlds biggest nation is, well, something to shout about? Fact is, that Dubya has basically gotten away with that, and people who say "let it go, it doesn't matter, it's the past" give he and others like him the impetus to believe they can get away with it again.
as i stated I hate George Bush but there isnt a lot I can do about it, but being constantly made to feel bad about what is going on 1000s of miles away when i have absolutely no control over it is pointless,
If you voted then well done, you exercised what little power you do have in this world,
the thing is I suggest that a lot of people should enjoy their lives rather than aphorising over things that we all KNOW are wrong.
As I said it's not the opinion that is in the wrong, but I find that when I am trying to relax and get on with my life i always have to hear a bunch of 'activists' prattle on about how bad things are. Basically I am bored to death of hearing and seeing hypocrites.
I am pleading for people who iterate over the same old Geprge Bush points to bring something new to the argument rather than saying 'But he stole the election' for I dont know how many times.
i wasnt, as some of you think, encouraging apathy to these situations (f**k you, very typical) but to constantly take a moral highground in what I can only assume is a new social trend, this isnt the answer to the worlds problems.
personally I try to spread happiness to people in my life, cant do much else than my own part.

That has a point. But then again, what should we care about if not this?*
*I realise global poverty is just as dangerous and gets little attention, but you know what I mean.

Yeah, let it go; it was 4 years ago and that is such a long time ago...
