That is all.
1) Never use your brakes unless its extremely essential, they are not needed when gokarting.
2) Take the corners from outside to in unless you are being closely pursued, in which case take in to out, otherwise they'll come up the inside forcing you to slow down and take you.
3) When going around corners, gently lift your foot of the accellerator and when you feel the car is about to slide, slam the accellerator back and this will prevent you sliding.
4) Make sure you don't accidentaly have you foot on the brake (It's sometimes hard to tell when you're doing it), thus will slow you down and also the marshalls don't like it cos it knackers the karts.
5) Don't try and overtake at every oppotunity. Follow the car extremely closely causin the driver to get a little anxious, thus putting him off. When you see the perfect oppotunity overtake. Too many missed oppotunities results in the other cars pullin away and others catching up.
And finally, tip 6) Make sure your not wasted before you go :P

Because I am their hero stupid.

That made me chuckle.

Well as I'm so brilliant I've designed a door that changes size to reflect the profile of the individual that wished to pass through it. If more than one person wishes to pass through at the same time, the door will change the dimensions of the room to ensure a smooth passage.
Brilliant huh?
And don't get drunk or stoned before. You'll just crash.
I'd go as the Stag's legs, that way you can reach the accelerator.
