Also I'm noting that it looks a little nicer in XP than it does in 98 and ME. If people are still using 800 x 600 then I doubt most of them will have XP.
I think frames would be a better idea to save download times. Also the resolution issue is a very valid one. I run 1024x768 and I get the overlapping issue that cookie monster mentioned. The higher the resolution the worse it gets. At 1920x1440 60% of the screen is just white.
