Yeah, I've got a few of the Star Characters, but how do you get the Power Shot Upgrades?

Well there are star versions of each character (increase in power, speed, curvyness of shots, that sort of thing) that you can unlock by beating the Star Cup in the tournament mode with that particular character, so far i've only done this with Bowser Jr, which is a very good starting character, but i've also got just one more match to beat before I have done this with Waluigi too.
With the tournament mode you have to go through all of the Mushroom, Flower, and Star Cups to get a star character, and after every match you can save your progress in up to 3 data slots, so it'd be best if you only had 3 characters attempting a tournament at one time.
But other than star characters you can get Power Shot upgrades, i haven't seen the difference but I suppose these are increase in power and it probably depends on the technique you have for that character's Power Shot.

Did you think?
I was addicted to it and played it till the very end.
Perhaps you just weren't very good :P
Meaningless tournaments that lasted about 2 hours before you got bored and had unlocked the 2 characters.
Did you play the game?
I heard that it had a rubbish single player like the N64 game.

No, it's been getting nothing less than superb reviews.
