Good. Watch.
Christina Ricci and Charlize Theron having lesbian sex a turn off? You'll believe it possible.
Theron is Wuornos, from speech to facial expressions, to body language. Excellent performance too.

A few problems though: -
1) The last killing screams of the studio changing circumstances to avoid getting the ass sued off them.
2) The "confession" speech, where Selby traps Aileen into admitting the crimes, is NOT the confession that occurred in real life. This screams of Hollywood manipulation to garner sympathy for Wuornos.
3) All blokes in Authority are b@stards. Straight from the Spike Lee school of broad brush strokes.
I watched a pirate. I have the utmost belief that Wurnos case was unfair, Jeb Bush refused to lift the death penalty for her, and she was clearly mentally unwell when she is interviewed by a documentary filmmaker after her 12-minute psychological interview before her execution. Lots of controversy surrounded the original case, where police and other people related to the case tried to sell the movie rights (I assume the movie rights of the movie I watched) and Wuornos was convinced that evidence and her trials were suppressed / influenced for the desire for third parties to make money out of her story.
They are not making any money out of me, out of respect for Wuornos and the miscarriage of justice she suffered.
[edit]The "Monster" title of the movie is not a reference to Wuornos.

Wow. Didn't see that one coming. ;)
Anyway, I saw a documentary on C4 the other week - well, half of it - about her. She's one of those people that just seems evil.
> Biopic of Aileen Wuornos, a prostitute killed in 2002 after being on
> death row for the murder of seven men in the 1980's.
