I know there's a few NBA fans around here so thought i'd do a playoff final thread where we can talk about the finals or just the beautiful game of basketball itself.
So we have the mighty, unbeatable, super talented Los Angeles Lakers vs the...... ahem ...... Detroit Pistons.
The quartet of Kobe, big diesel, the glove and the mailman vs the defensive powerhouse of Ben Wallace and the jailbait of Rasheed Wallace with Richie Hamilton starting to show up when it matters at the final dance.
On paper the Lakers should walk this series easy and with the first 2 games in LA if we win both of those than that should happen. Detroit will probably be looking to snatch a win in those games to take back to Detroit for the 3 home game stretch, which if they manage to win one of the first two games could make the series a little more tricky for the Lakers then it should be.
Of course the west could just smash the east as they've done for many years now, which i of course will hope happens :-D

Well it was 1-1 in the regular season series so it should be a close few games. However this could be where we see the desire of Malone and Payton show wanting their rings finally and play out of their skins and destroy the Pistons along with the Shaq and Kobe show
I hope the Pistons take it, saw a few games of the Conference Finals whilst I was in the States recently and I thought the Pistons looked good, might not be good enough to beat the Lakers but I hope so.
We're gonna take you, LA. Oh yes.
