The Nintendo DS was launched last Thursday in Australia and already Nintendo are claiming that he DS is the Most successful Console launch in Australian video game history!
"The retail and consumer feedback from Thursdays Nintendo DS launch has been astounding’, Nintendo Australia sales and marketing director was quoted as saying. "We are eagerly awaiting the official market sales figures this week to fully solidify our place in the Australian marketplace as the most successful current hardware launch ever."
Good on them to be honest, the Gamecube after all has abysmal sales in Australia. This news should pick them up a bit.
