What was the first record that you ever bought? Mine was "Hey Mickey" by Toni Basil.

First album, OK Computer - Radiohead. That's fantastically impressive.

...except.. my first single, tape single, was the cover of the Flintstones theme tune, made for the film.

I don't know why I bought it. I just did.

Man, this question really pi##es me off, mostly because my answers suck ass. The first single I ever bought, CD single anyway, was Babylon Zoo, Spaceman. I take solace in the fact I wasn't the only person to do so, because apparently it was the fastest selling single of all time... at the time.

First album was The Great Escape by Blur, not too bad. I had loads of singles on tape before though, no idea which was my first.

oh and in 89 that was classified as 'rave music', what it actually is a bloke with a keyboard and a drum machine.

Still damn good though.

Dear lord. thats going back a bit.

I was pretty late to the buying records lark, and I think the first was "Licence to Ill", the first Beastie Boys LP.

I wish I have it still, in good condition. It's worth a fortune.

Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do. I am delighted.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
