because ive just burnt my hand on a hot drill bit. Ive got it in a mug of water to try and ease the pain.

Ive been told that if i wee on it that'll stop the sting. I think I'll give that a miss tho.

Did we mention leaving it under cold water.

I find that if you don't stop the burning sensation immediately, then you're stuck with it, doomed to try and get to sleep with your finger in a cup at the side of your bed.

No that only works for poisons as it nuetralises them.
