OK for the last few days i havent been on any abnormal sites, only Yahoo, SR etc, havent been on the net much, but for some reason when i came on the net today, my Homepage was changed to something weird. Anyway i changed it to my normal homepage, which then works, but i keep getting pornographic adverts etc coming up, which i dont think should be. I've run Ad-aware which found 53 new objetcs which were promptly deleted, but this one still keeps coming up. Any ideas on how to get rid of it, other spyware tools etc? Cheers...

As a note, you may want to try SpyBot S&D from www.spybot.info too - we've taken to using both at work, as one frequently finds files the other misses..

I think it's all spyware from Pornsites etc, it turns out that my mum (of all people) was actually looking for a Biography of someone off TV, a female someone, and she got a load of pornsites come up. Well thats what i can tell from my History anyway :P

The JSEXCEPTION.GEN virus does something similar, watch out for that one too.

Always set ad-aware to scan everthing, hard drive and all, or its pointless running a scan.

Do you have System Restore activated? It may bring the problem back...

EDIT - my spelling is appaling today - 5 mistakes in those sentences just then!

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
I am delighted.
Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do. I am delighted.
