I still reckon Adrian Paul would be a good choice, and he's English.
James Bond shoudl be an experienced man of the world. Orlando Bloom reeks of clueless muppett. He's too young and pretty.
Hugh Jackman could probably pull it off. I have respect for the guy as an actor, he's old enough to play the part and he has the looks.

It would be incredibly ironic and funny if Rowan Atkinson took over, but that's not going to happen. I haven't a clue who would take over, but seeing as Bond is a British agent, I would have to cite Orlando Bloom as the main candidate.
