If that is a rule, it is a stupid nonsensical rule with no point whatsoever. It is also a rule that anyone with any kind of common sense would 'forget' to enforce. I have never heard such stupidity before. There is NO REASON whatsover to stop people posting links to other forums. You aren't supposed to post links to competitors but most people will quite happily refer to them without any consequences because it's not as if they aren't aware of their presence in the first place.

Post away. No-one will care if you get banned anyways.
