I used to play violin. I gave up just before they started to use the bows. I got sick of plucking.

Probably.

She's sort of like a modern day violinist - she plays, but she has electrical backing and so on, and she using electronic effects over the violining (if it's even a word) and sometimes to modify the sound of it.

She's got a violin made of pure crystal. Not bad...

seen her in concert and she's absolute dynamite..

oh, and it's "Mae".. which is nice :)
