I seem to remember joining at about the same time as Chippy, only he stayed on for ages and posted a tonne of times and I wandered off after a couple of months of posting.
I joined one of the earliest days the forums has started (note - unless someone can find the first reply to the first topic in the original Pokémon Yellow forum, I declare myself am winner.

I must have been about 13 at the time. I remember well just posting for a couple of months and then just stopping, mostly in the Nintendo forum with you, tphi, Whitestripes, Rickoss and the like.
