Yes, I cried really badly when then show that should have been cancelled about 5 seasons ago finally finished.
Family Guy is funny, whilst The Simpsons are getting pathetic. Simpsons used to be funny aswell.

family guy is good yes, but it's a different type of humour to the simpsons. peter griffin will never beat the brilliance of Homers character.
Family Guy is the new Simpsons I tells you. Simpsons peaked ages ago, and Family Guy isn't as limited in appeal as many think. Its never going to replace The Simpsons, but its still uber-funny.

I enjoy it now and again as a bit of laid back lighthearted comedy, but the ending of the series means as much to me as the price of grain in china.
There is such a thing as a series going on too long - I hate to admit it, but the simpsons is getting seriously stale.
