Microsoft Train Simulator.

Is it me? I mean really?

Press g to get in train driver cab
Press e to start engine
Press b to stop at lights and stations

The end.

What kind of butt-muppet is going to play this thing?
No steering.
No ramps
No timetrial
No customising trains

*tumbleweed blows through the office*

Hello? I like train simulators...please talk to me.

This reminds me of other pointless games that I want to make:

Sim Housebrick
Sleep Simulator
Kettle Boiling Simulator
Bus Queue Simulator

I mean really.....a train driver simulator?
Like the Radio controlled car game....just buy a damn car and have fun with that instead of a game where you pretend to drive a model car.

Insanity......

It's the "Stare out of 3 windows at scenery as you watch gauges" that makes my head hurt.

Flight Sims don't do anything for me, but there is an element of skill to staying up the air.
However ,going from A-B with only the speed you can adjust seems a tad....pointless?

And here's a handy tip for you sim enthusiasts, you can try this at home tonight:

Sub Simulator

Fill your bath up, turn on shower, crouch in bath and make like you're in a sub that's been hit.

That is STILL more fun than a train game.
Do you get MASSIVE mutton-chops to stick on your face for a more realistic experience?

Well, it could include sub-games like 'stay awake at the controls for extra points' and 'eat the specially made BR sandwiches without throwing up.'

Oh for the days of Advanced Lawnmower Simulator.

I've read reviews of this on other sites, just in case it was a big "Goatboy's head explodes" joke review.

This is a real game, and one of the "best" things is the passenger option.
You sit in a seat and can look out of the window and around the (empty) carriage.

Wow, I don't do this enough.

Let's wait for

Microsoft Traffic Jam Simulator
Microsoft Walk up stairs in a house Simulator
Microsoft Typing on a PC Simulator.

That last one is my fav, you will have an almost real monitor on-screen and you must type out a thousand times
"I will not be allowed to buy games myself anymore because I have no brain and money to spend on bum-candle games like this."

I'd laugh, but someone will buy this and that's just not on.

Maybe by them making a wierd game they will make more money as Train Simulator will stick in my head and I am sure in others. People will wan to try it out, see what it is like.

Thing is, Microsoft have enough money to waste and expriment on this wierd simulator!

Microsoft are trying to make money of the fools again.

(did you know that Zelda MM was probably the most overlooked title in the world, THAT pi$$es me off)

Ahhhhhh....cross game possibilities.

Bobo grabbing Solid Snake and throwing him at cows.

As for the running the rail system better, it's not even that.
It's a simulation of driving the thing.

Press t to drink tea
Press s for sandwiches

I've heard of pointless games, but this one takes the trophy.
And before any Trainspotters/enthusiasts start with "Some of us enjoy these games".....shut up, you're wrong. Get over it.

Nobody, and I mean nobody can honestly look at this and think "Oooooh, a train driving simulator, goody!"

Man, I need to take a pill or something *s*

But come on A TRAIN DRIVING GAME??????????????

LoL!

Goatboy I was thinking the same thing when I saw it!

I mean you are on a rail, all you would be able to do is speed up and down then brake. Pointless.

But there has got to be something about it thats good, or is it just pointless altogether?

Maybe one of us should try test it out!

Bugsy not me :-D
