I installed Black & White this morning. I loaded it up, and after around 5 mins loading it finally came up with a white screen. Thwn, the intro music played, but nothing came up on the screen!!

Thinking it was a graphics card problem, I found out what my graphics card was.

I have an STB Velocity 128.

Now, I don't know if this supports B and W, but if it does, I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites where I could download some drivers for it??

Thanks in advance, Ant.

Well, different types/bus speeds etc...but you're pretty safe getting PC100 SDRAM if you've bought your pc within the last 8 months or so.

lol, if you can find a recent version of 'doze that uses 1mb of ram, please tell me...ram's dirt cheap atm anyway, I'm getting another 256mb this weekend for 」65.

I've found out. It ain't a graphics card problem.

It's my memory. B and W needs 64mb of ram, which is what I have.

Unfortunately, it appears that I only have 63mb of ram, as I reckon 1mb of of it is being used by Windows.

I'll get an upgrade at the weekend hopefully.

Windows 2000:

Windows 95/95/ME:

(Remember the spaces)
There may be others, but the STB site wasn't responding - 3dfx bought them, then went bust, so it could be that.

Take a look in the README file in the B&W directory, it shows all supported cards there.
