They're more complex you see, so that they can tell, if say, you're playing an FPS, and your health is low, they'll start reloading, and missing you, so that you can kill them, but, as soon as you get a medipack, they'll shoot you to within an inch of your health again.

What's the point in taking AI to a newer, more complex, realistic and therefore harder level if "games should be easier"?

It depends on what you like playing, consoles are the fun ones, pc games tend to be serious and strategic.

Thats a good point. I'm looking to get a games console, mainly to keep me occupied while i'm away at uni but since i'm getting a lap top too maybe I should just look into buying PC games..what do you reckon?

Well i know that certain games have a finish point, once you have completed them, thats it.
Some games mostly sports games can be played again and again, because they dont have a end goal.

Yes it is, which is why i'd rather spend £4 renting something, than £40, the only games i buy are the ones that i'm going to keep playing.

Do you not feel it's a waste of money to spend £30+ on a game only to complete it within a few days. It's ever the same doing it all over again!

Exactly ! The difficulty level is fine at the moment, but i'm fed up with finishing games in a couple of days, although it has saved me money as i can rent and complete them instead of buying.

What's the point? If games are easier people will complete them quicker..but they got to be careful no to make them too hard or else people will be bored!
