Cue the "Awwwww..."
But remeber, this is a man with an air rifle.
So what did I do? Leave it alone or kill it?
In the end, I shot it.
With the digital camera
I'm not that heartless..

It isn't the cutest of things (it's a magpie) but it looks better alive than dead.
It is a bird.
Who hasn't seen a bird before?
And why would I shoot it? Really?
Reasons for:
1) I may hear a satisfying "thump" as the pellet enters its head.
2) I will be finally able to call myself "a man".
Reasons against:
1) It's a defenceless bird who is only about 2 months old.
2) I'm not hungry, and if I was, I would eat something more appetising.
3) It hasn't caused any harm.
4) It has as much right to life as anything else.
It's like the lion scenario - a man can kill a lion and it is brilliant sport and great fun - but if it kills him it is barbaric. Even though it is an animal, and he a human who is supposedly cultured and civilised.
Have you ever seen the Hitchcock film "Birds"?
Scares the hell out of me.
Ah what the hell shoot it
I got a load of cavemen queueing up to rub their clubs in the ground to make fire.

I'm sorry if this sounds rude, but Squall that was one of the stupidest things I ever heard. So, by not killing a helpless bird, you consider RoJ effeminate? Right...
And what happened after I took the photograph?
I uploaded it onto my PC..
Once again Roj showing his feminine side.
