What a result against one of the best clubs in the world - We were excellent at the back again - The press and everyone else who criticised us can stick it - The performance at the Nou Camp paid off and we are on our way to another, YET ANOTHER final!!!

neither do i, ipswich should get into the champions league. It will be pritty wierd seeing them playing in europes biggest comp though seeing as they were only playing division one football last year. Its a major achievement and george burley should get manager of the year
Last night was just a proud moment for every Liverpool fan - We have waited a long time for sucess and it finally looks like the glory days are returning to Anfield. Gerrard Houllier has brought back the Liverpool of old.
The Champions League is the place to be though - We still have a great chance of getting third place and I would rather us qualify for that than winning the treble - Thats how much it means playing in the Champions League!!
But whether it takes this season, next season or the season after we are heading the right way and picking up as much silverware as we can along the way will do just nicely for now!!
This is the dawn of a new era for the club and I think we are a much stronger side than some people think!!

Hang on Mattyboy. Liverpool have done really well this season and they deserve great respect for going 180 minutes against Barca without conceding. BUT - they have yet to even qualify for THE competition which is the Champions League. Whatsmore it does not look like they will qualify for next season.
I remember Arsenal getting to the UEFA cup final last season (losing on penalties to Galatassary). There was no real excitement about being in the competition, even when we reached the final. Arsenal fans did'nt seemed to care that much when we lost the final either. That is because we know that the UEFA cup is so far adrift from the Champions League in terms of prestige.
I congratulate Liverpool for reaching the final, but you can not say Liverpool are back until they prove themselves in the best competition.
Arsenal will put Liverpool firmly in their place on May 12th.
