Yeh I thought it wasn't too bad. Most of the questions seemed reasonably easy other than that blasted question 19.

I'm sorry but in what possible way does "the probability of picking a white ball" have ANYTHINGto do with "2x² - 35x + 98 = 0" ?????

Although I do worry, as thinking an exam was easy, is a sure fire signal for failure :(

I'm guessing we had a different exam board, or just a different tier :)

I was entered into Intermediate maths

You multiplied the probability of getting a white by itself and said it was equal to the probability given in the question.

Work it through and simplify to get 2n2 - 35n + 98 = 0.

I'm on CCEA and I did rubbish, even though I only do intermediate.
:(

And I need to get straight B's to stay on in my current school. Which may be difficult in some cases.

Yer, i can vouch for this, i can clearly remember in my History exam getting some facts and figures wrong (e.g put down the wrong name of president during Vietnam war), yet i still came out with a B - dont know how.

As levels on the other hand, have been a completly different kettle of fish - although i did rinse the English Lit one on monday, which i havent done before.
Yay.
