I totally agree.. Lucas has made it so that to understand these people's motivations and back story you need to go into the books and other crap to be able to watch the film. The originals were never like this. Damn merchandising.
I still haven't got over Christenson in that RotJ DVD pic. Was that a fake? Please god it was.

Amazingly Nuclear man, who surely derived his atomic energy from well atoms, freely abundant in the solar system, was defeated by Superman tricking him into a box which blocked out the sun. So nuclear man got his energy from the Sun? Why call him nuclear man then?
Ahhh maybe they called him that so Superman wouldn't cotton on so quickly. If he was Solarman, superman would move the sun to another solar system or something. Then he'd move it back again when everyone got cold.
It could still happen that way. Maybe we could get Lucas to go back and produce a special edition?
