I recently got the new N*E*R*D album, Fly or Die. Its not my usual style of music but i thought i'd give it a try, mainly to try and pull a fit girl who's a fan of theirs.

I dont really know how to describe their music style. Its not Rap od HipHop, but its also not rock. Its a bit of a mix of the two but with an added spark of coolnes.

After listening to the album for a week now, ive come to love them. Its a welcome change to the rock I usually listen to but also manages to be somewhat similar.

For anyone wanting something a bit different, I would recomend this new album.

In my opinion, their music just doesn't sound right, being a big rock fan myself. Using a slightly-rap style of singing is acceptable in rock/metal, Rob Zombie being a vocalist who uses this style well. However, The Nerds (As I have dubbed them) have obviously not done their homework (Pun intended), because it souns like a mishmash of rock, rap and drunkeness. My verdict? Good effort and concept, bad results.
