Using the Sandra 2004 utility, I ran the
"CPU Arithmetic Benchmark"
Results:
Dhrystone ALU: 10287 MIPS
Whetstone FPU/iSSE2: 4444/7762 MFLOPS
Performance Rating: 4732

From that (written on the 18th of March 2004) I would assume pritty soon. Thats what annoies me about the computer components industry, there never are definite release dates for products.

I reckon i could squeeze more out of it, i think the ram should take it and at least any breakages can be a backbone excuse for a socket 939 upgrade. :)

Ran it again and got that. Hmm. Performance 3715
Whetstone FPU: 3498MFLOPS
Whetstone iSSE2: 6169MFLOPS
P4 2.8 w/HT 800FSB left as normal. :)

Lucky you, I have to unplug the system, remove the battery for 30 secs (which if put back wrong can explode), and then plug it back in and power up.
Shame, I bet if you had the 800FSB version you could get it up to 3.2 and possibly further
