Right there's this girl i like.
I fancy her and by the way she looks at me
i could tell she likes me to.
The only thing is that i'm afraid to ask her out even
though i know that if i did ask her out she would say yes.
I'm usually good with this sort of thing but she's stunning.
Any ideas?

That could work, I was walking through town and this girl (who was with her mate) just got stopped by this guy and said "hi can I have your mobile number" and she gave it to him, she looked as suprised as I did. Perhaps you could try that.

What about if i just start with

You have to build up that confidence and bite the bullet, you don't want to look back and wonder what it would have been like.

I have been with my other half for 4 years now and we get married this summer, I couldn't live without her and these years have been the best of my life and it's because I made an effort to ask her.

You be vague to find out if they'd go with you. Then you put forward place and date etc.
Like whoever it was said, being precise could lead to embarrassment of epic proportions.

Simply being vague, then suggesting idea's is better than being specific.
And I've yet to understand how you'd have to ask all over again. Besides, if you did, at least you're then comfortable with them, as you know that they feel the same.
