I don't really believe that figure. If Broadband can only reach a certain distance, and there are many homes, even in my small town, that are too far away from the exchange then even if the exchange is enabled, those homes will not be able to have Broadband.

And that's just a small town. What about a city with only a few exchanges and plenty of rural housing?

Probably more like 60-70% I reckon...

I've got broadband only because a rich blokey has been buying property left, right and centre and wanted it. So he gave it to the town. Ahhh....

Well I don't have Broadband as I don't use the internet enough to warrent it, and I'm not even remotely interested in online gaming either.

Yeah, i was talking about the official BT registrations site. Ive deleted it from my favourites now, but if you dig around you should be able to find it.
