"DOES ANYONE REALLY CARE ABOUT DVD EXTRAS?"

sometimes extras on 2 disc dvds are great but sometimes they really suck ass. For example the extras in the texas chainsaw massacre and finding nemo were cool but some are just plain bad. Like those found in spiderman or american pie the wedding.Dire!
Does anyone even bother looking at extras? I only look at alternate endings and stuff. They're decent...sometimes

Th Great Escape extras were great, it told you the real accounts of prisoners, what actaully happened, and what was missed out/changed to stuff that is unbelievably fictional in the movie version.

To answer your question, yes but then it does depend on the movie/series. It better to have a choice really some people might be tempted to buy a movie if it was cheaper with no extras than a version with extras so they make more money anyway. A lot of people went and bought just the movie of Donnie Darko for around 5 pounds.

But of course some extras like commentaries and features people are more likely to enjoy than say perhaps trailers and photo gallery.

I think the question should be, do you like DVDs that have trailers and logo clips before the menu and FORCE you to watch them by disabiling the skip/FF/Menu buttons?

The Gangs of New York extras are exceptionally good.
