Deer arent that shy, ive seen a few cross the motorway. Just depends where you live really.

A deer. That might be the best one possible. Forgot about deer.
Hedgehog. Yes that's a good one. Although they are associated with being a bit - prickly.
Aren't deers quite shy? As in they never come near you when in the wild.
