"Did I do the right thing? What would you have done?"

Right, I was cycling home from work this evening, and i pass a building site every day, but as i was passing through today, i noticed there were about 4 kids inside trying to start up the heavy machinery. These kids were only 13/14 tops.

So i tohught about what to do, on one hand i could leave them, after all they are only having fun, but then again, what if one of the cuts an arm off or something silly like that, and it would be on my mind for ages.

So, i could have left them be, shouted at them to get out, or rang the police. What would you have done?

After thinking about it, i rang my local police station and the sent a unit there with the siren on and what not.Did i do the right thing? or just ruin some kids idea of fun?

According to the powers that be, if you are unable to work at your profesion, mine being a levels, in a manner to which you can actually do what you need to do. With me sleeping on a sofa in my lounge, i have no space at all, just a pc in a corner which i worked my ass off for to get. The only time i can work without people watching tv or passing through to get into the kitchen or to leave the back door is after midnight, when all are asleep. Therefor i get no sleep myself and i am tired during college hours to which i cannot perform to my full potential. Now in the eyes of the governemnt and all laws etc, this is classed as homeless and if i wasnted to goto the trouble i could have my family investigated and get my parents lock away in prison for treating me like an animal simply because they cannot afford a biger house. Then i would be placed in a home. Personally i do not feel homeless, but the situation in which i live has the homeless ethic forsed upon it by the powers that want to "help". e.g the councilors i talk to and adivice buro's.

Can I just ask, if your living conditions are comparable to the homeless, how are you able to afford internet access and video games?
