Right, I was cycling home from work this evening, and i pass a building site every day, but as i was passing through today, i noticed there were about 4 kids inside trying to start up the heavy machinery. These kids were only 13/14 tops.

So i tohught about what to do, on one hand i could leave them, after all they are only having fun, but then again, what if one of the cuts an arm off or something silly like that, and it would be on my mind for ages.

So, i could have left them be, shouted at them to get out, or rang the police. What would you have done?

After thinking about it, i rang my local police station and the sent a unit there with the siren on and what not.Did i do the right thing? or just ruin some kids idea of fun?

The age of them kids they should know whats right and wrong and where its safe to go. You obviousley new they were no in the right place, so you did what you thought was best. What ever they were doing it was unsafe. Wether they got hurt or not. Its up to them and there parents to keep them safe.

Some kids once raided a building sight near where I stayed. Tried to nick a JCB. They couldn't drive the thing properly so I went over and scared 'em off, turned off the generator they had started etc. There was no watchman or anything.

Of course someone else had phoned the police, who nearly arrested me because they thought I was one of those "mindless young hooligans".

It's blindingly obvious to any friggin' half wit that you should've phoned the police. I stated this.

Then you were the one who came out with some completely irrelevant "omg im a psycho nd it woz proven!11 4 free!11" clap trap. And the rest is history.
