I can think of some names for him...
Bloody idiot. Worst ref in the premiership by a mile.

Take Steve Bennett on Paul Scholes in the Man U v Chelsea game recently.

Ever? :)
Ilhan Mansiz I think it was, put the ball into the back of the net twice after the ref had blown for offside, and got booked twice and sent off.
It's the rules! What did you expect?

worst spelling e-var!
however it is proven by opta stats and the FA second judgement system, that styles is indeed the worst referee in the prem.
Common sense needs to prevail in games, watching a game that's stopping and starting all the time is pretty boring and unneccassary when you take into consideration that many of the freekicks awarded yesterday was nitpicking from the ref.
The game was far from dirty, yet we had about 10 yellow cards and 2 sendings off.

No, because referees can become a lot more lenient if a player has already been booked.
As he was already carded, that led to his dismissal.
I just do not see how a player should be dismissed for simply doing what Ronaldo did. They can call it "kicking the ball away" all they like, but it still wasn't as strong a second bookable offence as, say, the kind of dangerous lunge that Wayne Rooney has managed to escape with several times this season.
All he really needed was a firm, final warning. Although he did disrupt the continuation of play a little, you can hardly blame him for simply putting the ball in the back of the net. Players get away with it all the time - why should he have been treated any differently?
