The game industry is quite unique in the way that all time favourites are generally newer titles. Look at the film industry, to be regarded as a true critic or fan of movies their favourites would include old classics from Hitchcock, unknown director's films which are cult classics (Halloween's John Carpenter). The music industry is also like this, the Beatles, Queen, The Bee Gees would be considered as all time favourites and people who voted S-Club 7 or a boy band would be considered to know little if nothing of the 'real' music industry.
In voting for these computer games I could pretend that I have some undying passion for Space Invaders or Manic Miner, however I feel that perfected genres of games sparking with increasing originality as well as influence are the classic games. Not so much the first Mario Bros game but Mario 3 and Mario 64 claim the fame, and why not, they are after all developed genres which pay homage to their brave and simple predecessors.

Here goes...(this is hard)

1 Perfect Dark N64
2 Golden Eye N64
3 Mario Kart SNES
4 Nights into Dreams Saturn
5 Zelda - Ocarina of time N64
6 Sonic the hedgehog 2 MD
7 Jet Force Gemini N64
8 Diddy Kong Racing N64
9 Sega Rally Saturn
10 Mario 64 N64

The GoldenEye and Perfect Dark problem has occured, which is the better? Original flare and style, being bond in realistic levels and the first experience of complete multiplayer bliss. Or the polished version with more originality, more multiplayer heaven, better graphics and sound. The Zelda games have also made me feel like a casual gamer, I have not casted away the original Zelda classics with no thanks. Zelda 'a link to the past' was amazing for its time and the size of the thing in the capturing world of legend and sword fighting was and still is amazing, however how can it really compete with a bigger, flashy 3-D version which carries the classic game into a new realm of gaming? IN the film industry and to an extent the music one too, re-makes hardly ever beat the originals, but we have the same designers and creators working with the magical characters and ideas for sequels on machines which continue to help expand what made the originals so great.

When doing this again in say ten years, I wonder how many of my all time favourites above will be cleared off the list fro newer and better versions. In a way I hope so.

10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Impressive control panel
I have to say that I'm impressed with the features available having logged on... Loads of info - excellent.
