It sits by the patio doors for ages, looking out. Finally it miaows to be let out, so I open the door and shut it behind her, and she sits for ages looking in! What kind of mentality is that!? She doesn't come in when I open it again, likes the view. Anyway, she's 17 and a bit creaky, so I suppose I should allow her some slack. Managed to hit the other cat with the door though, as it ran in quickly. She's only 15, so it's alright.

In the end I just left the door open, and she sits on the bit in the middle. That blows your 'open/shut door' to smitherines!

The reasoning being that a cat always wants to be on the other side of a door. It's their nature. If it's inside, they want outside. Outside, they want inside. it finds a door between universes, and slips through.
