Nintendo have a problem. The childish image of the company (although their games aren’t as childish as many make out) needs to be altered in order to suit the older gamer and they need to do it now so the launch of the Gamecube can be a huge success.

The problem Nintendo face when changing their image though is the younger gamer. The way Nintendo are viewed by parents are the Disney of computer games and that the system is safe for their kids to play on. Now if Nintendo alter their image to suit older gamers then they may lose the younger market.

Nintendo need to find a way to aim at both markets and discouraging neither of them. Simply making adult games doesn’t seem to work especially after the uproar created by the release of Conker. So what can Nintendo do? They could try advertising childish games during childish shows etc… and adult games during adult programs but then parents might be discouraged.

So what can Nintendo do? They are releasing adult games on the Gamecube such as Too Human, Eternal Darkness, Turok 4, After Dark, Conker’s other bad day, Resident evil 0 and 4 and possibly Shadowman 2econd coming. Nintendo have a difficult job to do but what do you think they need to do?

Here’s to the future

With the GBA i'm surprised if they even care about the Gamecube as they will make enough money it anyway. :0)

Nintendo will make enough money with GBA and Pokemon. If the gamecube does well it will be a bonus. Maybe Nintendo should just concentrate on their younger audience as it seems to be making hefty profits.

They should stick a big cross on the Gamecube and then stamp R.I.P. all over it and concentrate on the GBA instead.

LOL

The X cube and the kid cube

I like it

Although you were probably messing that is actually a good idea

We should have a bright coloured one withj a black X across it for both and call it the Gamecube

...or, bring out a Gamecube with a parental lock on it so that games that had age ratings could only be played if the correct code was input, which only the parents had access to.
