This worries me, I fear they could be the new Coldplay. This would be a bad thing, a very bad thing. One band like Coldplay is too much, with their stupid singer with an annoying voice, and bloody soft songs, but it seems to me like Keane follow the same formula. Crappy little piano bits, crappy singing.

Keane? From the two singles they've released, I think I quite like them, but only in that 'I'm shopping in Borders, flicking through a Calvin and Hobbes annual and tapping my foot to whatever is on the in-store radio' way. Don't know whether I could stomach a whole album of fey, art student-esque melancholy.
The new Ash single is the nuts. The album, which I illegally obtained the other day (downloaded, not tea-leafed) is not so good. Ash are a singles band, their albums tend to be built round the good songs.
