"Keane: The New Coldplay?"

Looks like Keane are popular then, another single in the top ten.

This worries me, I fear they could be the new Coldplay. This would be a bad thing, a very bad thing. One band like Coldplay is too much, with their stupid singer with an annoying voice, and bloody soft songs, but it seems to me like Keane follow the same formula. Crappy little piano bits, crappy singing.

Aye, I'm right, Keane are the new Coldplay. Be afraid, cover your ears, avoid at all cost, and go buy Ash instead.

I've always wondering that when I hear people listening to Bonkers or some guff on their headphones.

One man rave.

Coldplay are excellent, but they're not a band that everyone is going to like. There's a time and place for them really, you wouldn't want to go out and hear 'Trouble' when you're out on the lash with your mates, but on the same note, I don't understand how someone can just sit in there room on their own and listen to dance music.

Changing the subject a little, anyone heard Morrissey's new song? Tis excellent.

Either way, I personally see Coldplay as a Radio 2 band that get played on Xfm.

Coldplay = Superb.
Keane = Gay.

I neither said I hated Keane or the Ash album was crap. Some points in between for either band.

Keane are pretty good, from what I have heard.

I actually really like Keane, I got their album on Monday, yet I've never really like Coldplay...

Someonewhere Only We Know is a great single, the new one isn't ~that~ good.

Two others worth noting from the album are, 'This is the last time' and 'Bend and break.' Those songs are far too upbeat for Coldplay to ever come close too...

And thanks for ruining my optimism, I pre-ordered the new Ash album aaaaages ago and I was really looking forward to it, now you say it's crap?!
