Absolutely vile and sickening and i hope those who have done this get caught and brought to justice. The man was there to help build a better life for the people of that country and this happens to him. Sadly i doubt this will be the last of it. Sure those pictures of British troops torturing an iraqi prisoner have been exposed as fake but the damage has been done now and just gives these disgusting people another reason to go out and kill as many westerners as they can.
Never mind eh Daily Mirror? You got to sell a few more thousand copies of your rag.
Starts? This kind of rubbish has been going on for years. Isreal bombs, Palestinian suicide bomber, Israel bombs. T*t (oh dear...) -for-tat.
The treatment of Iraqi prisoners is as vile as the death of the poor man, if not obviously so fatal. Yeuch.
I can't believe the US and British armies are stupid enough to do such vile things, and I despise these supposed 'Muslims' for what they do to an innocent.
Not much can be said.
Sickening.

No. They sawed through his throat with a knife. Then held his head up to the camera.
It's a terrible shame for the relatives and all.
" the man screamed "
I found this statement so stupid, I can't think of anyone who wouldn't as they were beheaded slowly with a bloody knife.

Nononononono...that's NOT what I'm saying; I'm saying that the abuse will be used as a justification. I didn't say it WAS a justification. Jeez, try not to be so manichean about this; condemnation of abuses by US and UK troops does NOT equate to condoning the deaths of US and UK troops or civilians at the hands of fundamentalists, 'kay?
Just to clear it up; the invasion and occupation is a bad thing. That doesn't make the troops and contractors in there bad people, okay? I'm not sat here rubbing my hands with glee at each coalition death; that's too high a price for the priviledge of being able to say "I told you so".

Fair enough.

No my intention was to bring to light a sick and disgusting murder. But of course unless it's the americans doing it to the Iraqis who cares eh? One less 'occupier' to worry about. Let's not forget this guy was here to actually HELP and rebuild that god forsaken country, but ah well americans abuse the iraqi's so it's ok if they go and kill an innocent american eh?
I know there are genuine photos out there and have condemned them just like i'm condemning this horrible act.
Daily Mirror. If I remember correctly, they were jumping on the tabloid bandwagon months back, and spraying every nook and cranny of their "newspaper" with, "We're supporting our boys!!!" and "We're behind them" blah blah etc, myes? And they were also doing the whole, "Ooh, naughty Al-Qaeda - killing innocent Brits/Americans" too, right?
So why is it that, if they were supporting the troops, wanted them to succeed, and were wishing them well, that they publish pictures that would certainly give Al-Qaeda and fringe terrorist groups reason to do even more horrific things to civilians, and go even further to harm British soldiers?
I was watching the news last night, and they were talking to a British Private as he was simply patrolling an area and overlooking it and so forth. He was talking about how, since these pictures were published by the Mirror, that things have heated up dramatically, and that Iraqi's - whether they be civies or not - were taking every opportunity to attack them.
Way to go, Piers.
They could've at least had the pictures analysed properly by experts before publishing them, rather than moisting themselves at the site of what was gold to them.
Even so, surely they could've done things confidentially - took these pictures to the government, the British army - whoever, rather than simply publishing them when, as I said, a backlash would be certain upon the guys they were supporting, and wanted to succeed.
It baffles me.
And yes, pick that to shreds. I'm probably wrong in most of it.
Grr.
Let's face facts here; those Al-Quaida chaps are plain insane enough to butcher an innocent on ANY pretext; blaming the Daily Mirror when there are numerous genuine photo's of Allied troops abusing prisoners smacks of sour grapes, and I'm sure that wasn't your intention.
Don't get me wrong; Piers Morgan is a nasty little toad of a man who cares not one jot about the rights of Iraqis. But saving all ones ire for him sorta distracts from the fact that these abuses are happening.
