"AS/A Levels"

I've got my first AS Level exam coming up in less that a week and I thought we could use a thread for exam discussions. When I did my GCSEs there was a thread of this calibre for people to ask questions or advice about different subjects so why not this time.

Personally I am most worried about my English exam because I need to get an A to be able to do Creative Writing at the university I want. *gulp*

I'm thinking of getting a Letts revision guide - does anyone know if they're any good?


So - all of your As and A level exam worries, question or tips in here. You never know - you might learn something.

I'm doing my GCSE's at the moment, and at the level I've found the letts guides really useful. I haven't tried the English one though, so I'm not too sure what that would be like. But from what I've done so far I can recommend them...

Im gonna fail my AS's. Go me.

I got enough points at AS to get into my Uni course, but they want the A2 ones. I know AS counts a good way, but not as much as A2. Like half or summat. Your course must be different to mine, obviously.

As = 3 modules = 50%

A2 = 3 modules = 50%

it's not a subject weighted more towards next year like some exams are.

If I get all A's now then it looks better applying to the uni with my AS levels already at a good grade.

I could get a B now and probably come out with an A overall, though.

how the hell you get anything any good in english GCSE because i tryied really hard to get a good mark in a moc and i got D :( i am getting high B or A in most of my other subjects though...

any help on coursework or exams GCSE

i am taking business & sceince A-levels one year early,
they start next year...
