And i can't stand using this one. All the wires are joined up, i tried reinstalling the router, but nothing. The router works because it's how this and my Xbox get to the internet. It must be something on the PC... I recently tried setting up a little joinup between it and my mums laptop, which failed, then it wouldn't connect to the internet again. Save me.

2 Questions...

1) Are you running anything like Norton on your PC's? I had a total mare getting mine to network then it suddenly dawned on me that I had to create a trusted zone in Norton!

And whats the OS's on each PC?

2) You sure it's a router and not a switch? There's a huge difference. Maybe if you gave us the make and model, we could be of more help.

Ok, technically 3 questions!!

Network Interface Card.

Just re-wire the network, unplug cable, uninstall Driver, Replug Cable, Reinstall Driver until you get it right.

Start a fresh.

Uninstall Drivers for the NICs, and re-configure everything to do with the network. It is what i would have done, or trace back the steps of making the network.

Shove the NIC's into the 'Assign IP address Automatically Mode', its worked for me when my networks buggered up.

Any suggestions at all? I kinda went from wanting the internet back to needing it. I really do need it for homework and such.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Easy and free service!
I think it's fab that you provide an easy-to-follow service, and even better that it's free...!
