Sorry to post this in two threads and all, but here's my problem:

--------------------------------------------------------

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to upload a short Flash movie, 6694 bytes in size onto a free website. I don't care what the website looks like, just as long as it can be achieved.

Thanks all.

6000 bytes isn't 6 megs, you idiots.

It's 6 kilobytes.

1000 Kilobytes = 1 meg. (1024 if you want to be picky)
1,000,000 bytes = 1 meg.

The hint is in 'kilo' and 'mega', spastics.

Yeah you might as well go for geocities. I've had no problems uploading flash stuff up to there, and as far as i know there is no upload limit...

6,000 bytes being 6 meg

Most free hosting has a 1 meg upload file size capacity to stop people hosting mp3s and stuff.

I think staghosting would offer you a bit hosting limit, I've hosted animations on there before.

Basically you can upload an animation two ways. With an FTP (file transfer protocol, which is desirable for large files) or with a user interface like geocities file manager.
