Short Story Competition 4

Ok, the topic is Secret Cheesecake. There's a secret second choice for the topic - check the rules.

It doesn't have to revolve around a cheesecake, it can be even so slightly brief. But it must involve a secret. Ordinary cheesecakes will not be accepted.

The Rules

* Make it as long as you want. Bare in mind if it's too long and too boring I won't read it. Just tell the tale, make it good.

* Put SSC4 in the title so I can find them.

* Don’t call your story ‘The Well’ - it's about a 'Secret Cheesecake'. So calling it.. you get the picture.

* I'd prefer you just did one entry, but you can do a few if you want.

* I'll be judging on the 29th of May as long as I remember to. You can post one that day and I'll judge it too if you like.

* Don't complain. This is my competition, and I'm taking it seriously. So neeerrr.

* BONUS GRIX RULE - If you find Secret Cheesecake too hard, then you can use extra super bonus topic number 2, which is - Secret Tunnel.

People using both topics will be commended, but it'll probably be crap to do. Those using neither will be laughed at. I suggest picking one, and I'd rather you used the cheesecake because I've always believed cheesecake has had an untapped potential.

Good luck. :) I'm looking foward to reading most of your stories. Anyone who gives the cheesecake legs, without good reason, I will mark down. Seriously. [EDIT: LIMBS. No limbs, whatsoever, on the cheesecake.]

Well, if you can't even write the sentence above properly...

I just a masterpiece on cake and the transition of power throughout history.

It sucked though.

Mine is posted, and also is, complete and utter twaddle. It was difficult to base something more serious around a secret cheesecake. And I didn't want to use the tunnel. The cheesecake is far too irrelevant in my story I feel. Oh well.

Boo me!

Mine is done - the cheesecake is in there, so is the secret. I'm just trying to work out whether it's good or utter and complete twaddle. When I come to a conclusion, I'll probably post it regardless.

Have you any idea how cruel you are? Making a girl, who has recently started a diet, walk around thinking about cheesecake.

I may actually have a proper go. True story.

I'm thinking drug-laden cheesecake, and a nice trip somewhere.

...

Or, I could re-post something really old, and put
"So this guy walks in with a cheesecake. I took a bite and collapsed. This is what happened:"
At the start.

Then
"Then I woke up - it was all a dream. The man was gone. My knickers were sticky."
At the end.

Perhaps not.

I'd like to give this a go, but whether or not I'll be able to find the time is the problem.

And all my ideas have walking/grabbing cakes of some sort.
