I bet you'll all go and say Jesper's goal today was a cross as well.

Face it. He's amazing. And he meant both goals.....

They were both superb goals, and whilst the one against Man United was certainly a shot, I have a sneaky suspicion that his Champion's League strike may have been intended as a cross. Either way, two great goals in two games.

Terry - Amazing

I went to that game.

Gronkjaer is a tool.

a really big useless tool, like a left handed hammer.

He scores 2 goals and he's being hailed as "Amazing".

He can't even cross, fact. is goal against Liverpool last season was a fluke, fact, Pompey beat Southampton, fact :P

What about Joe Cole at only £6m?

He's finally being given a chance to show him why he deserves to be in one of the country's top teams, and just look at how well he can do!


Crespo (like Veron) has been a dissapointment (based on his reputation and what we know he can do). Glen Johnson was quite a 'waste' of £6m on an un-experienced full-back when you already have Melchiot, Terry and Gallas. Ambrosio's barely been able to fill Cudicini's gloves when called upon - you really could've done so-much-better!

So, in short, a lot of it was a waste of money.

There was very little wrong with last season's side. All it needed was one or two 'experienced' addittions to build on the squad a little, and this was proven in the first-half second-leg on Wednesday.

Erm I think we've spent pretty well over all. Flops don't really matter to us because we have "unlimited" money. Our buys:

Duff - 17m - Worth every penny
Bridge - 7m - been outstanding this season, I'd say our most valuable buy this season
Veron - 15m - flopped so far with injuries but I'll give him a bit longer
Crespo - 11 goals or summat, not too bad seeing as he's settlin in. (over -rated though)
Mutu - 13.8m - Quality. Been out through injury and out of form as well, but a quality prospect


I'll do the rest later. 2nd half.

Shouldn't have even had the chance to do it seeing as it wasn't a corner and also Scholes should have closed him down instead of waving to his mom in the crowd.
